Pulley Gear 2 Set up

To utilize concentric loads higher than 25 kg or eccentric loads higher than 30 kg, attach a pulley between the machine and the athlete. The pulley doubles the maximum allowed loads to 50 kg concentric and 60 kg eccentric, at the cost of half the maximum allowed speed (down from 14 m/s to 7 m/s when using the pulley).

To get accurate load data, please also place the software in Pulley (Gear 2) mode.

On the machine display, select the pulley icon and switch to Pulley (Gear 2).

Controlling the machine with the tablet/laptop software (Control App), change the No Pulley icon to Pulley.

The 1080 Sprint 2 system comes with a plastic pulley as standard.

  1. Press the gear pulley in the resistance bar and select Pulley.

  2. Place the Sprint-line inside the pulley, around the drum

Make sure the line is correctly aligned in the center of the drum. If it ends up off the drum, there is a high risk of the line cutting due to high friction.

  1. Attach the carabiner/end of the line to the attachment pull slider below the line nozzle and between the front two wheels.

NOTE: Maximum Speed Limit after Gear 2 is attached is 7 m/s.
