This guide summarizes the steps to set up and use the Isokinetic Resistance Reps app.
Note
Quick start apps are used to quickly start a workout on the machine. To save data and perform analysis, please connect the control app remotely. How to connect Sprint 2 or Cable to Control App
Step 1: Launch the App
- Open the isokinetic quick start app and click to begin.
Step 2: Set Isokinetic Speed Limit
- Default speed limit is 0.3 m/s (linear velocity)
- To find optimal speed limit, perform 2-3 movements and the speed will adjust.
- Adjusted speed is set for 2.5 seconds concentric time under tension.
- Press Apply to set speed limit
Step 3: Adjust Load
- Default load: 3 kilograms (recommended for isokinetic mode).
- Increase or decrease the load using the app controls if load is too light or heavy at beginning of desired repetition.
- Fine-tune to values like 5.25 kg or 3.5 kg as needed using the "fine" option.
Step 4: Set Measurement Distance
- Choose the distance to measure (e.g., 5 yards, 10 yards, or 30 meters) in the top bar.
- The app units match the machine setting.
Step 5: Select Line Return Speed
-Adjust the return speed to fast for maximum freedom of movement:
-Speed can reach up to 14 m/s.
-This setting minimizes restrictions for line movement.
Step 6: Perform Exercises
-Begin your workout, such as one-arm rows.
-Observe live metrics during the exercise:
-Concentric average force output recommended
Step 7: Analyze and Customize Metrics
-Change the displayed metrics as needed.
-Options include average powerforce output.
-Metrics are displayed for concentric movements only.
