The exercise library contains all exercises defined in the system for both the 1080 Sprint and 1080
Quantum system.
All testing and training done on the 1080 machines are done within the context of an exercise.
They allow easier tracking of progress and contain information to both humans and machines on what to do:
- The Name, Instructions and Start/Stop Images tells the user how to perform the exercise.
- Settings in each exercise tells the software and the 1080 machines how to behave. For example, the minimum
required distance of a rep. The direction of a horizontal motion or the number of turns in a shuttle run. - The type of the exercise controls how the user interface displays and interacts with the training data.

Default 'Quick' Linear Exercise
By default, the "Quick" button (available when connected to a 1080 Sprint machine) will create a new session with
an exercise of type "Running".
While this is a good default for most users, it is possible to tell the application to use another exercise type for
quick sessions.
To change the default, open the exercise library and select the exercise that should be default. Note that it must be
of type Linear.
Then click "Make Default"
To clear the selection and revert back to the 1080 default, use the Instructor Settings dialog.
