Adding Additional Account Users
In 1080 Motion, the Organisation is the highest level of the account hierarchy. All clients, training data, sessions, and results belong to the Organisation — not to any individual user. Individual users are invited to the Organisation and access its shared data according to their assigned permission level.
This structure means a club, team, or facility operates as a single Organisation, and every coach, administrator, or staff member who needs access is set up as an individual user within it. Each user has their own personal login credentials — there is no need to share passwords or create duplicate accounts.
Best practice: Every person who accesses 1080 Motion software should have their own individual user account under the Organisation. This keeps data secure, activity traceable, and account management simple.
All users within the same Organisation share access to the same set of clients and training data. Only their permission level determines what they can do with it.
There are no limits to how many users can belong to an organization.
Roles
There are currently three roles available to choose from. A user can belong to more than one role.
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Analyst | Can view training data and perform exports, but cannot make modifications or record new sets of data |
| Coach | Can perform training sessions and record new data. Can also edit exercises and the client roster |
| Admin | Can perform administrative tasks such as inviting new users, managing API keys. Does not have access to training data |
The user that gets invited when the organization is created gets assigned to both Coach and Admin roles.
Note: a user that belong to multiple organizations can have different roles in different organizations. For example, they can be Admin in one organization but only Analyst in another.
Adding and managing users
User administration is managed by any user with Admin permission. Admins can:
- Invite new users to the Organisation
- Remove users who no longer need access
- Assign or change roles at any time
To manage users, log in to app.1080motion.com and navigate to User Administration in your Organisation settings or use this direct link: https://app.1080motion.com/account/users
A user can also belong to more than one Organisation under a single login. This means a coach who works across multiple clubs or facilities does not need a separate account for each — they simply accept an invitation from each Organisation and switch between them within the same login.
Who can manage users?
Only users with the Admin role for the organization can manage the Organisation's user list. If you need a user added or a permission level changed and do not have Admin access, contact your Organisation's Admin user directly.
