Redesigned home screen, app switching from 1080 Go, and advanced result search

Open sessions from the machine home screen, switch machine apps from 1080 Go, search results across sessions, and record heavy walks and side shuffles with Slow Movement.

October's software update makes it easier to get into a session, manage training from your phone, and find the results you need. It also adds a setting for recording slower exercises, including heavy walks and side shuffles.

Your sessions, right on the home screen

The redesigned machine home screen now shows your sessions in a list. See your sessions as soon as you reach the home screen and open the one you want to use, with fewer steps between starting the machine and getting into training.

Find and open your training sessions directly from the machine home screen.

Switch machine apps from 1080 Go

You can now switch the app running on your machine directly from 1080 Go. Move between machine apps from your phone as your training changes, without returning to the built-in screen to make the switch.

1080 Go also gives you more ways to prepare and manage sessions. Create a session directly in the app, then add or remove participants and exercises. Together, these additions let you handle more of the session workflow from your phone.

Find results across sessions

To open advanced result search, go to app.1080motion.com and click the Analyze tab.

Advanced result search in the Web App lets you search across sessions by date, client, and exercise type. Instead of opening individual sessions to find a result, narrow your search to the training you want to review.

Find results by result kind, client, exercise, and date range.

For example, search for a client's results for a particular exercise type over a selected date range, then use the measurement and machine-setting filters to refine the list.

Record heavy walks and side shuffles

The Control App and Web App now has a Slow Movement setting for linear sprint and change of direction exercises. Turn it on for heavy walks, side shuffles, and other exercises performed at walking speed so they are recorded instead of being aborted as a standstill.

Enable Slow Movement for exercises such as heavy walks and side shuffles.

Run detection is normally tuned for sprinting. With Slow Movement enabled, the machine uses lower thresholds to detect the start, turns, and end of a run, allowing it to capture these slower movements.

Turn on Slow Movement for an exercise in the exercise editor in either the Control App or the Web App. Leave it off for sprints and other fast exercises. Read more in Exercise Type Settings: Slow Movement.

Control App required for recording

You can enable Slow Movement for an exercise in the Control App or the Web App, but recording with this setting currently requires the Control App. Support in the machine app and 1080 Go is planned for November 2026.
