# User Accounts

An organization account can have one or multiple users, each with their own username and password. Each user can be assigned a permission level to control what the can do in the system.

To view the list of users and to create new ones, select the [User Administration](https://webapp.1080motion.com/Admin/Users) menu entry from the user menu:

From here it's possible to edit user details such as name or email as well as changing the password of users.

User Access to data

All users can see the same data. It is currently *not* possible to limit a user to only see a subset of clients or their data.

To separate data between users, additional organization accounts need to be created. Contact 1080 Support for more details.

### Operations

- Add User: use this to create a new user that should be able to access the training data.
- Add support user: Use this to give 1080 motion temporary access to the training data. By default, the account will be given *read only* access and be active for 30 days. Both of these settings can be changed after the support account has been created.
- Edit: change Name, Email or Permission Level of a user.
- Set Password: change the password of a user
- Delete: Remove the user account. This does not remove any training data - it will only prevent this user from logging in

### Permission Levels

There are three levels of permissions that can be granted to a user:

- **Read only** - Can view training data and perform exports, but cannot make modifications or record new sets of data
- **Read/Write** - Can perform training sessions and record new data.
- **Admin** - Can perform administrative tasks for the instructor account, such as managing this user list, API keys and machines. They can also perform all the task of the Read/Write user

It's recommended that individual accounts are created for everybody who needs access to the system within the same organization.
