# Step Analysis View

The tool shows a plot of the entire run with a list of steps below. The individual steps are also highlighted on the plot. If the starting side is unknown, the steps are simply labeled **A** and **B**. Otherwise they will be labeled **Left** or **Right** accordingly.

Use the controls in the top to change the current start side.

## Movement List

The movement list shows the steps that has been identified

| Column | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Side | The side that this movement corresponds to. This all depends on the start side, with each step alternating between left/right |
| Peak Force | The peak force found during this movement. |
| Movement Length | The length of the this movement ("step" in case of running) |
| Stride Length | A stride is defined as a full cycle from left to left, or right to right |
| Frequency | The current movement frequency in movements per second ("steps per second" for running) |

## Further Analysis

To look closer at a certain subset of the steps, use the list to select the interesting steps, or use the zoom slider to narrow down a range.

The selected steps are analyzed and statistics for the two sides are presented to the right of the list.

The image below shows a 3 kg resisted 32 m sprint in NFW mode with 9% left/right force output difference. The black box highlights the selected steps and the red box displays the summary of results.
