# Renewing a Software License

#### Renewing or Lapsing a Software License

Access to the 1080 Motion Software Suite requires an **active annual software license**. When a license expires, access to all platforms is suspended until the license is renewed.

#### What happens when a license expires

| Status | Access |
| --- | --- |
| **Active license** | Full access to all 1080 Motion platforms and software |
| **Expired license** | Login is suspended — no access to any platform until renewed |
| **Renewed license** | Access is restored immediately upon confirmation of renewal |

> Your data is never deleted when a license expires. All client profiles, session history, results, and settings are retained and will be fully accessible again once the license is renewed.

#### How to renew your license

Contact the 1080 Motion sales team before your license expiry date to arrange renewal and avoid any interruption to access.

Include your **organisation name** and **account email address** in your message so the team can locate your account quickly.
