This guide summarizes the steps to set up and use the Change of Direction App.

Step 1: Launch the App
- Open the Change of Direction app and click to begin.
Step 2: Set Up the Zero Position and No Pull Zone
- Calibrate the "zero position" to ensure the line does not fully retract after a sprint and create a no pull zone.
- Recommended distance: at least 5 meters or 5 yards from the machine.
- Be careful not to move into the no pull zone during the change of direction exercise.
Step 3: Understanding Start-Stop Position
- Auto: Data will be collected if moving toward or away from the Sprint 2
- Resisted: Data will only begin to be collected if runing away from Sprint 2
- Assisted: Data will only begin to be collected if running toward the Sprint 2
Step 4: Adjust Load
- Default load: 3 kilograms (recommended for baseline change of direction testing).
- Increase or decrease the load using the app controls.
- Fine-tune to values like 5.25 kg or 3.5 kg as needed using the "fine" option.
Step 5: Start and Stop position
- The same starting point must be crossed at the finish of the CoD movement to complete the exercise and display data.
Step 6: Begin the Sprint
- Ensure the settings are correct, then start the movement.
- Adjust load and distance settings as necessary.
Step 7: View Results
- After the movement, results will display:
- Miles per hour (or kph in metric).
- Total time.
- Distance run.
- Results are saved as reps and are keept until you exit the app.
Step 8: Manage Reps
- To delete a rep:
- Select the rep.
- Press the delete button.
