# Machine Sample Data

All 1080 machines, from the first generation Quantum to the latest generation Sprint2 and Cable all produce sample data that is read by the 1080 software.

The following values are captured continuously while the machine is running:

| Data | Description |
| --- | --- |
| Position | The current position of the line with very high accuracy |
| Time | The current time, with at least *millisecond* level accuracy |
| Force | Current force exherted on the line |
| Speed | How fast the line is moving. Simply the change in position divided by the time. |
| Acceleration | Current rate of change for speed. |
| Power | Force multiplied with speed. |

The sample frequency for sprint 1 and quantum is 333Hz. For sprint2 and cable it is 200Hz.
