To be able to communicate with the 1080 sprint or quantum, the IP address of the Bluetooth Network Connection in
Windows must be set to the correct value.
- IP assignment should be Manual
- IP Address should be either
192.168.250.111or192.168.250.222depending on which type of machine you
want to connect to. See table below. - Subnet mask should be
255.255.255.255

From Start, open *Settings

Select Network & Internet

Select Advanced network settings at the bottom of the screen

Click on Bluetooth Network Connection and then View additional properties

Click Edit on IP assignment

Set to Manual and then enter the correct IP Address and Subnet mask. Don't forget to save.

Once done, it should look like this under IPv4:

Note: DNS and IPv6 settings does not matter
Windows 10

In Windows 10, find the network adapter settings under Network Connections in the control panel

Right click the Bluetooth Network Connection icon and select Properties

Select Internet Procol Version 4 and click Properties

Choose Use the following IP address and enter the correct values according to the table above.

Click *OK to save the settings
