How to set up Gear 2 on 1080 Sprint

To utilize resisted loads higher than 15kg and assisted loads higher than 22,5kg you will need to
attach a pulley between the machine and the athlete. The pulley will double the maximum
allowed load at the cost of half the maximum allowed speed (down from 14m/s to 7m/s when
using the pulley). To get the correct data you also need to put the 1080 Software in Second
Gear mode.

The 1080 Sprint system comes with an aluminium pulley as standard.

Reduce load until you enter Park-mode (P). In P-mode Press the gear pulley in the resistance bar and select Pulley.

  1. Place the Sprint-line inside the pulley, around the aluminium drum

  1. Make sure the line is correctly aligned in the centre of the drum. If it ends up off the
drum, there is a high risk of the line cutting due to high friction

  1. If possible, attach the carabiner/end of the line to an external fixed object or a heavy
external load, typically a weight plate. (Recommended)

  1. If no external fastening point is available, fastening the line inside the Sprint is also
    an option. (See picture)
