This guide shows you how to properly attach a quick release strap to your Sprint 2 system. Follow the steps below and refer to the images for clarity.

---

## Step 1 – Tie an Overhand Loop Knot

Start by making an **Overhand Loop Knot** (also called an *Overhand on a Bight*) at the end of the yellow cord.

1. Fold the cord back on itself to form a U-shape (a bight).
2. Tie an overhand knot using the doubled section.
3. Leave a small fixed loop at the end of the cord.

This loop will be used to attach the cord securely to the strap.

---

## Step 2 – Attach the Loop to the Strap

Take the loop you just created and attach it to the strap:

1. Pass the loop through the **black metal D-ring** on the quick release strap.
2. Feed the **entire strap** back through the yellow loop.
3. Pull the strap tight — the loop will cinch around the D-ring, locking the strap in place.

## Optional Finishing Touch

If there is extra cord left over:

- You can **cut off the excess length**.
- Carefully **melt the end with a lighter** to prevent fraying.

✅ You’ve now successfully attached the quick release strap to Sprint 2.
