Unloaded Simulation

Prev Next

From the force velocity profile, it is possible to simulate how the runner would behave when running unloaded, that is - without being tethered to a 1080 sprint machine.

The simulation includes the effects of air resistance, and assumes an ambient temperature of 20°C (68°F) and sea level air pressure.

Prediction Tables

The output from these simulations are presented as prediction tables in both WebApp and ControlApp.

  • Time to Distance: Shows how long time it would take for the runner to reach a certain distance when running unloaded.
  • Distance at Time: Shows how far the runner would have run after a certain time when running unloaded.
  • Time to % of Top Speed: Shows how long time it would take for the runner to reach a certain percentage of their unloaded top speed (not ).
