Connecting 1080 Go to a machine

Prev Next

Use this guide to pair 1080 Go with a compatible 1080 Motion machine and reconnect to it later.

Before You Start

  • Use a compatible 1080 Motion machine: Cable, Sprint 2, or Squat.
  • Turn on Bluetooth on your phone or tablet.
  • Allow 1080 Go to access Bluetooth when prompted.
  • Stand within a few meters of the machine.
  • Make sure no other phone or tablet is currently connected to the machine.
  • If this is your first time connecting, make sure the machine is on the Bluetooth settings screen (Settings → Bluetooth).
Can't see Bluetooth in the machine's Settings menu?

Make sure your machine is running the latest firmware.

Pair a Machine for the First Time

  1. Turn on the machine.
  2. On the machine screen, open Settings → Bluetooth.
  3. In 1080 Go, tap Add Machine.
  4. Wait for your machine to appear in the list.
  5. Tap the machine card.
  6. When 1080 Go displays the pairing code, confirm that it matches the code shown on the machine.
  7. Tap Accept on the machine screen to complete pairing.

When pairing is successful, the machine card shows Connected, and the app opens the machine control screen.

Reconnect to a Paired Machine

After the first successful pairing, you no longer need to keep the machine on its Bluetooth settings screen.

  1. Turn on the machine.
  2. Open 1080 Go.
  3. Tap the machine card on the home screen.
  4. Tap Accept on the machine screen to reconnect.

The app automatically remembers machines that have been paired successfully.

If the Machine Does Not Appear or you cannot connect

Try the following:

  • Confirm that the machine is powered on.
  • For first-time pairing, make sure the machine is on its Bluetooth settings screen.
  • Move closer to the machine.
  • Turn Bluetooth off and back on again on your phone or tablet.
  • Restart the machine, then scan again.
  • Ask anyone else connected to the machine to disconnect.
  • Check your device settings and confirm that Bluetooth permission is enabled for 1080 Go.
  • Forget the Bluetooth pairing on both the machine and your phone, then pair again.
