# Assigning Load from Saved LVP

A key feature of completing and saving a load velocity profile is to establish individualized loading for running and rep-type exercises.

The 1080 software suite can be utilized to assign a training load based on the velocity decrement table. Follow the steps below to assign loading based on preference for constant or variable stimulus.

### Assigning velocity decrement load using Sessions

### Machine Display App

Constant loading is available in Sessions using Auto-Apply Loads and choosing *Velocity decrement* and then selecting preferred Velocity Decrement Percentage. ![vdec auto apply.png](https://cdn.document360.io/2720a32a-6d48-40c3-870e-0cf3536ac843/Images/Documentation/vdec%20auto%20apply.png)

### Tablet Display Control App

Constant and variable loading is available to the user when controlling load from the tablet or laptop Control App software.

Constant loading is selected by default when choosing a load from the new run pop-up window.

#### Step 1: From Sessions, click on new run

#### Step 2: Select the name of client in the lower left corner of the pop-up window

#### Step 3: Select Velocity Decrement

#### Step 4a: Set constant load via velocity decrement desired

#### Step 4b: Set variable load via velocity decrement desired with predicted target speed.

Note: User must first choose variable loading from the resistance bar prior to selecting velocity decrement for a new run to access the variable loading by Vdec table.
